Brian Cline band rocks Sacramento State

The Brian Cline Band rocked the crowed Wednesday at Sacramento State’s Joe Serna Plaza.

Front man and guitarist Brian Cline, bassist Andrew Lion, electric guitarist Rob Sherman and drummer Paul Batres showed the audience why they should be nationally known. The band played positive, uplifting, ’60s style music, but with a modern day sound.

The band has been compared to artists such as Matchbox 20, Vertical Horizon and The Counting Crowes.

The band performed songs from their current CD, “Hold the Keys,” which include “What’s That Do For Me,” “Eye Storm,” “Something to Tell,” “Something to Tell” and “Joe.”

In addition, the band sang a thoughtful, if not an inspiring track from the CD titled “Believe in Me.”

Upcoming Shows:

Caron Vikre, award-winning pop and rock vocalist. Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 12 p.m. at Joe Serna Plaza.

San Francisco International Comedy Competition. Hosted by Matt Weinhold Thursday, Oct. 5, at 7: 30 p.m. in the University Union Ballroom.
