		<description>Larry, I agree, that would be a legitimate pedagogical purpose for his visit.  Unfortunately, he was not invited as a case study for the Psychology Department.  He’d be quite a specimen.  I heard him on WBZ radio today saying that it was “from my heart” that he committed bombings.  Just chilling.</description>

		<description>History is written by the winners.  And this guy obviously did not win.  Let him tell his story.  Maybe we can avoid somebody else like him doing desperate things to further a cause.</description>

		<description>As a recent UMass grad, I’m stunned that the History department is sponsoring this invitation to a convicted terrorist.  Liberal studies are about reasoned nonviolent discourse – an unrepentant terrorist has no place on a campus that supports these values.  If this invitation actually reflects the opinion of professors on campus (and I still find this hard to believe), then this just isn’t my UMass anymore.</description>
