Unfortunately, he was not invited as a case study for the Psychology Department. He’d be quite a specimen. Liberal studies are about reasoned nonviolent discourse – an unrepentant terrorist has no place on a campus that supports these values. If this invitation actually reflects the opinion of professors on campus (and I still find this hard to believe), then this just isn’t my UMass anymore.
