I Agree, I thought Skasome had the crowd alot better than any of the other openers..What happened there garth? as soon as they Played keasbey, and that really cool last song (I think they called it TMS?) the crowd was bumping! And you can't really call that a ska show. This is what you had:

Skasome Society: Easily the best band there, Kudos to those guys! they were the only 3rd wave true ska band!

The Stereo State: Bunch of drunk kids playing punk music......not ska.......

Ill Scarlet: I have to say at first I was taken back, but those guys have some dirrrrtttyyy sick reggae/two tone beats. Still not ska though

Big D: With the exception of LAX, and mabey one other, Big D is Hardly the ska it used to be. And the only reason they had their crowd bumping so hard is because everyone knew who they were. Still not totally ska.

So the Irony of this the only bands that were ska were: Skasome Society and Big D. If I had it my way, I would have gone Stereo State, Ill Scarlet, Skasome Society, and then Big D

I'm confused...Skasome Society had the crowd moving, and THEN the energy in the room died when the Stereo State played. The place went NUTS when Skasome played keasby nights and their last song!

And illScarlet was ok, it seemed like nobody was into them until halfway through their set. And as for Big D...yea, i appreciate the new direction their going in but I say stick to the third wave ska.

can't wait for the next wmass ska show!
