After earning its first victory of the season, the Massachusetts basketball team will look to make it two in a row when it takes on St. Francis College tonight at the Mullins Center. The Terriers (0-3) are still seeking their first win and welcome back junior guard Ricky Cadell after a two-game suspension for violation of team rules.

UMass breaks both school and personal records

The Massachusetts swimming and diving teams both earned third place at Boston University’s Terrier Invitational. Jason Cook led the men’s diving team with two victories, while the swim team had 22 top-five individual finishes.

After defeating then-No. 9 Yale, the Massachusetts hockey team will look to continue its success against ranked opponents when it heads on the road to face Vermont tonight. The Minutemen will face a team in the Catamounts who have struggled at times this season while fighting through a tough schedule.

Minutemen face UVM to continue road trip

On Thanksgiving week, the Massachusetts hockey team will take on Vermont at Gutterson Fieldhouse on Tuesday night in search of its fourth road win of the season. The No. 10 Minutemen will face their second-straight nationally ranked opponent in the No. 18 Black Bears.

UMass splits a pair of overtime games

The Massachusetts men’s club hockey team split a back-and-forth weekend, which saw two overtime games against Maine and Bryant at the Mullins Center. In the first contest, the Minutemen defeated Bryant, 5-4, with a game-winning goal by Matthew Coughlin.
