Michael Franti says ‘Hey’ to NoHo

Known for his 2009 hit “Say Hey (I Love You),” Michael Franti will perform at the Calvin Theater on Nov. 1-2 with his band Spearhead. Both shows start at 8 p.m. Bobby Long will serve as the opening act both nights.

Minutewomen close out regular season against Atlantic 10 foes

With the best conference record in the Atlantic 10, the Massachusetts field hockey team will look to keep its top seed after this weekend in which it faces West Chester and La Salle. Both the Explorers and Golden Rams are in midst of losing streaks and are unlikely to make the posteason.

Minutemen wrap up home schedule over weekend

Coming off a pair of 1-0 wins against Temple and Saint Joseph’s, the Massachusetts men’s soccer team is in second place in the Atlantic 10 with a 4-0-1 record. This weekend, the Minutemen will wrap up their home schedule with matchups against Fordham and La Salle, who have each won five of their last seven games.
