Police keep up with vehicle stops and vandalism over weekend

Friday, Feb. 7

2:53p.m.: A grey 2008 Chevy SE with red rims was stolen from Fort Hill Auto Body. The owner came to pick up her sunglasses when she discovered that her car was gone.

3:05p.m.: More than $250 worth of merchandise was stolen from CVS.

4:52p.m.: A guitar case was left outside of an apartment on East Hadley Road. One woman originally thought a guitar was inside, but another woman believed a firearm was inside. The case was opened to reveal an AR-15 Airsoft gun.

10:10p.m.: Patrick O’Brien was arrested on Belchertown Rd for the assault of the caller’s 23-year-old son during an argument.

Saturday, Feb. 8

1:36a.m.: Travis Thompson was arrested after his vehicle was stopped and towed by Ernie’s Towing. The original stop was for attaching plates.

Sunday, Feb. 9

1:20a.m.: Vandalism was reported on a 2008 Audi on Fearing Street with kicking and scratching observed.

1:49a.m.: Katherine Mullane was arrested on charges of OUI liquor, operation of a motor vehicle to endanger, negligence and a marked lanes violation after a motor vehicle stop.

8:20p.m.: The window of Copy Cat Print Shop was smashed in an act of vandalism. An extra police patrol requested.
