Charlotte’s softball team fell twice over this past weekend, dropping its record to 14-4. Pitcher Emily Jeffery broke her strikeout record and allowed three hits.

Fordham sweeps Temple
Fordham defeated Temple this past weekend as a part of a 13-game winning streak for the Rams. The win was due to a combination of offensive and defensive production.

Valencia throws perfect game; Yellow Jackets come back after loss
Jordan Valencia threw a perfect game last Saturday against the Gophers, while the No. 7 Yellow Jackets swept UVA in a three-game series. The No.1 Huskies are in the midst of a five-game winning streak.

No. 8 Pride struggling
After starting a hot, the Hofstra men’s lacrosse team had two consecutive loses that hurt it in the rankings, which include losses to Massachusetts and Drexel. The Pride lost to the Dragons, 13-11, on Saturday.
