Survival of the fittest: Local gyms fight to compete with UMass Rec Center

Gyms like The Leading Edge and Planet Fitness have been forced to make some big changes in order to compete with the UMass Rec Center. While no one will be going to the Edge anymore, Planet Fitness claims to have benefited from the change.

Slideshow: Nor’easter pummels North Shore

A nor’easter hit the North Shore on the night of Feb. 25 into the following morning. The storm pulled trees from the ground, ripped roofs off of houses and businesses, and even started a fire. Many cars were crushed by fallen trees and parts of buildings. Crews are working around the clock to clean up the mess, but a handful of houses are still without electricity.
