Minutewomen extend streak

Already on a two-game winning streak, the Massachusetts women’s club hockey team kept the streak alive with a win and draw over the weekend.

Musketeers knock off No. 5 Rams, clinch playoff spot

Xavier had to go through a lot to get into the Atlantic 10 tournament, earning a comeback 2-1 victory over Fordham. The first of XU’s goals came in the 72nd minute, while the game-winner came nearly 10 minutes later.

Minutewomen drop weekend double-header to Rams

The Massachusetts women’s club hockey team fell in two consecutive matches to Rhode Island over the weekend, the second of which was a 3-2 overtime match. The Minutewomen remain winless and will look to earn their first victory next weekend against No. 7 Penn State.

Minutewomen host No.6 Spartans Friday

After falling to the Spartans last year in the national championship, the Minutewomen host MSU to open their season this weekend.

Minutewomen look to pick up where they left off in 2010-11 season

UMass finished eigth in the national tournament last season. Behind contributions from Brittany Resendes and Catherine o’Brien, the Minutewomen hope to make it back to the tournament when the host the Spartans in their season opener Oct. 22.
