Minutewomen defeat Buffalo, Penn State over weekend

The Massachusetts women's club hockey team won two back-to-back games and are now in second place for the Eastern Collegiate Women's Hockey League. The Minutewomen are now 8-11.

UMass defeats Coast Guard and falls to rival UConn

In celebrating Military Appreciation night this past weekend against Coast Guard, the Massachusetts men’s club hockey team defeated the Bears, 10-3. In their next game against NECHA American West division rival Connecticut, the Minutemen fell, 6-5, in a closely-contested match.

Minutewomen swept by Huskies

In back-to-back games against Northeastern, the Massachusetts women’s club hockey team was the victim of a sweep this weekend. The two wins for the Huskies places them at 11-0 for the season, while the Minutewomen drop to 5-5.

Minutemen ready to end break with Military Appreciation Night

The Massachusetts club hockey team ends its two week break Friday with Military Appreciation Night at the Mullins Center against Coast Guard Academy. The following night, the Minutemen will face rival Connecticut on the road before hosting five straight games.

Minutewomen split with Rhode Island

After a tough 7-2 loss Friday night, UMass bounced back with a last-second goal to defeat the Rams 2-1 on Saturday. The split leaves UMass in third place in the conference.

UMass splits a pair of overtime games

The Massachusetts men’s club hockey team split a back-and-forth weekend, which saw two overtime games against Maine and Bryant at the Mullins Center. In the first contest, the Minutemen defeated Bryant, 5-4, with a game-winning goal by Matthew Coughlin.

UMass drops second loss of the season

After defeating Central Connecticut State, the Massachusetts men’s club hockey team suffered its second loss of the season to Western Connecticut State. The Minutemen offense struggled and was held to a single goal after scoring 71 goals prior to the loss.
