The Massachusetts men’s club soccer team defeated Yale, 1-0, yesterday despite poor weather conditions and a change of field. This was the Minutemen’s seventh shutout over the course of the season.

Minutewomen drop weekend double-header to Rams
The Massachusetts women’s club hockey team fell in two consecutive matches to Rhode Island over the weekend, the second of which was a 3-2 overtime match. The Minutewomen remain winless and will look to earn their first victory next weekend against No. 7 Penn State.

Minutemen take on Yale
The Massachusetts club soccer team will face Yale on Sunday after receiving an automatic big for the national tournament. The last time the two teams met, the Minutemen won, 3-0.

Club hockey falls to Bryant, 5-4
Despite a scoring tear with four goals, the Massachusetts men’s club hockey team fell in overtime to Bryant. UMass coach Mike Atkinson said the game was a back and forth affair.

Minutemen earn two road victories over weekend
The Massachusetts men’s club hockey team won two straight road games over the weekend, both with six goals by the Maroon and White. The Minutemen will travel to Bryant next.

Overtime thriller gives UMass clockey edge heading into weekend
After suffering a 4-0 shutout loss to the hands of RPI, the Minutemen came from behind to defeat the Engineers 4-3 in overtime and head to Westfield State and Sacred Heart for a pair of contests this weekend.

Minutemen slated for rematch with RPI over the weekend
Last Saturday, UMass was shutout by the Engineers 4-0, but hope to avenge that loss when RPI travels to the Mullins Center practice rink for the first time this season to take on the Minutemen Friday evening.

Video: Minutemen fall to BC in grudge match
Referee miscues and mishandlings by the Massachusetts rugby team forced a forfeit against the Eagles earlier this season on Sept. 25. Excited to face off against Boston College, UMass was outmatched in a 30-15 Eagles win.
