Harvard and Providence travel to Amherst to face UMass

During spring break week, the Massachusetts men’s lacrosse team will host Harvard and Providence as it looks to improve its 3-1 season record. The Minutemen will rely on their offense which ranks second in the nation in scoring with 15.67 goals per game, while the Friars have scored 10 total goals in their first two games.

Minutewomen begin a six-game road stint beginning this weekend

After breaking its three-game losing streak in its four-game homestand, the Massachusetts women’s lacrosse team will face its first long road trip of the season. The Minutewomen will face Stony Brook this Saturday before remaining in New York to take on Albany the following weekend.

Heading on the road to face Stony Brook, the Massachusetts women’s lacrosse team will be familiar with the setting. Several players on the UMass roster, including junior Jackie Lyons, are from the state of New York which makes the contest against the Seawolves a homecoming of sorts.

Ohio State Edges Nittany Lions, Pride edge Bears

The Penn State Nittany Lions defeated Ohio State, as Logan Schuss scored the game-winning goal for PSU, 11-10, while the Seawolves and Pride won their games this past week.

Rally carries Minutemen over Great Danes

Minutewomen looking for fresh start against Yale

Following three straight losses on its home turf, the Massachusetts women’s lacrosse team looks to finish off its five-game home stretch with a positive result against Yale on Wednesday. After an 11-8 loss to New Hampshire, the Minutewomen had five days to get ready for a long road trip.

Minutemen look to rebound after first loss of season

After suffering a late loss to Yale on Friday, UMass will take on Albany Tuesday afternoon at Garber Field as they look to climb back into the national rankings. The Great Danes pulled out a victory last season against the Minutemen and hold a 5-4 all-time advantage.
