Senior Bryan Leigh earned Conference Pitcher of the Week, junior Eric Fredette was awarded Player of the Week, while freshman Ryan Cusick received Rookie of the Week. UMass went 3-2 on the week and earning its third-straight series victory over a conference opponent in Saint Louis.

The wins give UMass confidence when it travels to face Boston College this afternoon. The Eagles boast strong hitters in Mickey Wiswall, who leads the team in home runs (9), and Robbie Anston, who leads BC in hits (41), runs (30), and stolen bases (9).
