While James Marcou and Casey Wellman anchored the Minutemen’s power-play unit last season, UMass will look for a slew of young players to generate offense in man-up situations. The Minutemen went 0-for-5 against the Golden Gophers over the weekend in the power-play.

Junior Danny Hobbs’ two-goal performance was not enough for the Massachusetts hockey team, as Jeff Lee’s overtime goal capped a 4-3 comeback win for New Brunswick in an exhibition game at the Mullins Practice Rink on Saturday.
