Former All-American Kelsey McGovern returns to UMass women’s lacrosse as an assistant coach.

When Angela McMahon came from UConn to UMass to be the women’s lacrosse coach four years ago, two of her recruits at UConn, Katie Ferris and Kelsey McGovern, followed her to UMass. In the short time since, the three have been making their mark in UMass lacrosse history.
The Minutewomen will welcome winless St. Bonaventure to McGuirk Stadium on Friday before traveling to Duquesne on Sunday for their season finale.
The Minutewomen will hit the road on Saturday to face the second place Spiders.
