Roof comes down on UMass Rowing Team boats
The roof of the storage facility of the UMass Rowing Team caved in, destroying 13 boats, and costing an estimated $175,000 in damages.

Minutemen score 31 first half points in blowout over Holy Cross
The Massachusetts football team’s running back tandem combined for 148 rushing yards and two touchdowns in its win over Holy Cross on Saturday. Quarterback Kyle Havens finished the game 25-of-38 on pass attempts.

Minutewomen lose, 10-8, in slushy weather
The Massachusetts women’s lacrosse team lost its second game of the season to No. 10 Boston University, 10-8. Despite a late run by the Minutewomen, the Terrier offense maintained composure and held on to the victory.
