UNH and Delaware square off Friday, after the Wildcats defeated Bethune-Cookman last week in the second round of play. The Blue Hens have one of the top five offenses in the country led by Penn State transfer quarterback and CAA Offensive Player of the Year Pat Devlin. Meanwhile, Villanova takes on Appalachian State, while William & Mary were defeated by Georgia Southern, 31-15 on its home turf.

Boston College completed a weekend sweep over the weekend on Saturday with a three-goal victory over city-rival Boston University. BC claimed victory by scoring a single goal in the first, three in the second and its final goal in the third period.

Charlie Coyle found the back of the next for BU against Maine to tie the Black Bears Saturday, while Henrion had a score and one assist to lead the Wildcats past the UML. The Catamounts and Friars also skated to a draw over the weekend.

The Massachusetts men’s soccer team has struggled this season in finishing scoring opportunities. Despite scoring more than last season, the Minutemen have missed 25 of their 33 shot attempts on goal this year. After practicing on finishing at the net this week, UMass will get a chance to prove if the drills have paid off when it takes on Dartmouth on Wednesday.

After a tough 2-2 tie in double overtime to Vermont, the Massachusetts men’s soccer team will host undefeated New Hampshire at Rudd Field on Saturday. The Wildcats boast a tough and physical team which has taken the game into overtime in four of their first five contests this season.

In its first road game of the season, the Massachusetts women’s soccer team went scoreless as it suffered a 1-0 loss to Albany. UMass, however, dominated all over the field with 17 shots compared to the Great Danes’ nine. The lack of a goal scorer was what ultimately hurt the Minutewomen as goalkeeper Emily Cota and the defense played well.
