Despite being on foreign water, UMass competed as though it was its home waters.

Fall competition concludes for Minutewomen crew
After completing the Foot of the Charles, UMass goes into its offseason with mixed results. The Minutewomen head to Florida in January for offseason training in order to prepare for spring competition.

Rowing solid in opener
The Massachusetts crew team opened up its season with a eight boat, six race competition in Connecticut. Junior Emily Boucher finished fourth for the Minutewomen.

Minutewomen kick off 2010 campaign
UMass coach Jim Dietz and the crew team looks to bounce back in 2010 after falling to URI in the A-10 championships last spring. UMass has won 13 of the last 15 A-10 championships

Lightweight 8 takes first in nationals
The Massachusetts rowing team ended its year with positive results in the USRowing Collegiate Championships. The Minutewomen took first place in the Lightweight 8 race with a time of 7:33.426.

UMass takes 1st in Regatta
With the Massachusetts crew team finishing second in the Atlantic 10 Championships a few weeks ago, the Minutemen had a doubleheader this weekend on the Connecticut River. UMass competed against local rivals Amherst and Vermont.
