The University of Massachusetts Police Department responded to a report of assault and battery and unarmed attempted robbery outside Moore Hall in Southwest Residential Area Monday night, according to a crime alert sent to the campus community Wednesday night. The incident took place at 9:00 p.m., according to the alert, and police responded at 10:21 p.m. The victim reported being knocked to the ground.
