On the strength of quarterback Chris Whitney’s performance, the Villanova football team defeated Richmond, 28-7, on Saturday to move into a three-way tie for the best record in the Colonial Athletic Association. Whitney tallied 118 rushing yards and scored three total touchdowns in the win.
Behind quarterback Chris Witney, Villanova dominated Maine over this past weekend, with a final score of 48-18. The Wildcats scored four touchdowns on five offensive drives in the first half.
