Friday, April 25

 11:00 a.m.: Police recovered a black iPhone 4 with an orange case between Hallock Street and McClellan Street. The owner of the phone is unknown, as it is locked.

1:36 p.m.: A black and white male beagle was found without tags on Shays Street. The dog was brought to the shelter.

5:59 p.m.: A party confiscated a fake ID at University Liquors on University Drive, which resulted in the subject possibly smashing the door. The event may be on video, but when the video was reviewed, it did not show evidence of the subject smashing the door.

9:07 p.m.: A woman locked her crying baby in her car at Cumberland Farms on Belchertown Road. AAA was delayed in its response, so Ernie’s Towing was called and they came to unlock the car doors.

9:19 p.m.: A white 2000 Nissan SE Altima had its driver’s side mirror and windshield wipers ripped off at Mill Valley Building 740 on Riverglade Drive.

9:28 p.m.: Juvenile arrests occurred on Montague Road for marked lanes violations and the smell of burning marijuana. Alcohol was also found in the stopped car. The 17-year-olds were picked up by their parents.

11:45 p.m.: A male punched out the window of High Horse LLC on North Pleasant Street and then left.

Saturday, April 26

12:12 a.m.: Tyler Chambers of Shutesbury was arrested on Main Street for OUI liquor, a marked lanes violation and leaving the scene of property damage after a motor vehicle accident.

1:21 a.m.: Medical assistance was needed at Worlds Apart Games on North Pleasant Street for a male who was found on the floor of the bathroom complaining of stomach pains. He was transported to Cooley Dickinson Hospital by the Amherst Fire Department.

1:26 a.m.: De Angelo Smith of Columbus, Ohio, was arrested near Antonio’s Pizza on North Pleasant Street for disorderly conduct after a fight.

12:41 p.m.: A male threatened to kill a woman and called her a degrading name while he was picking up his car at Ernie’s Towing on Montague Road.

4:15 p.m.: Medical assistance was needed at the Fine Arts Center at UMass on Presidents Drive for a male with back pain from deadlifting at the Recreation Center. He was transported to Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

5:19 p.m.: There was a liquor law violation on North Pleasant Street, which resulted in a summons arrest for a keg.

11:49 p.m.: Medical assistance was needed at People’s United Bank on East Pleasant Street for an unresponsive, heavily intoxicated male. The Amherst Fire Department was en route.

Sunday, April 27

2:29 a.m.: There was a disturbance at Townhouse 70 on Meadow Street. A male was thrown out of the Townhouse apartment by his girlfriend’s roommate. He was advised to stay away for the night.

2:55 a.m.: Medical assistance was needed on Nutting Avenue for a college-aged male that fell. He had road rash on his face, upper body and arms. He had consumed acid and had fluctuating moods. He was transported to Cooley Dickinson Hospital by the Amherst Fire Department.

4:39 a.m.: A possible assault victim was found on Nutting Avenue, and the victim was then brought to the Amherst Police Department when it was discovered that the assault may have occurred in town.

7:38 p.m.: A woman called on Main Street and said that the father of her son would not return the 7-year-old boy after his weekend visitation.

Monday, April 28

1:29 a.m.: Jennifer Rivers of Sunderland was arrested for a marked lanes violation, OUI liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle to endanger at WMECO substation on Sunderland Road. Her car was towed by Ernie’s Towing.
