Acclaimed war documentary to grace Amherst Cinema

On Saturday at 2 p.m. and Tuesday at 7 p.m., Amherst Cinema Arts Center at 28 Amity St. will screen Iraq in Fragments, director James Longley’s 2006 documentary that illuminates post-war Iraq in three acts.

The film is a recipient of several awards, including Documentary Film Editing Award at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival, and the Gold Hugo Award for Best Documentary at the 2006 Chicago International film Festival.
