Sexual Assault-General Information

These national websites feature basic Information on creating a basic infrastructure of knowledge on sexual assault. These sites features advice, prevention tips, statistics, links to other helpful resources, printable literature about sexual assault,blogs, basic resources, and lists national events that bring awareness to sexual assault. Search by state for organizations and support groups for sexual assault.

Local Sexual Assault Support Centers

Each of these locations offers a variety of resources for survivors of sexual assault. Many of these places provide a 24-hour emergency hotline that dispenses support and advice. These locations also offer private counseling, group support sessions, medical, legal and police advocacy. Some locations offer birth control and emergency contraception, options counseling for pregnancy, STD Testing and Treatment, and gynecological care.

    If you’re sexually assaulted and need a ride to the hospital, everywomen’s center offers free rides to the hospital.
