Tunes to get you in the Halloween mood

Courtesy of Wikipedia

Here are some great Halloween tunes that are spooktacular!

Thriller
First and foremost, Michael Jackson’s, “Thriller” is one of the best Halloween songs of all time.  If you are planning on celebrating the holiday correctly, I would hope you would play this well-known jam. Because almost everyone knows the dance, this is a great way to get any Halloween party started.

The Monster Mash

Although an older tune, this is a popular holiday favorite. I am sure many of you know it, so play it! It will definitely get you in the Halloween spirit.

Ghostbusters

The Ghostbusters’ theme song is another great pick for this time of year.  Put it on at a party and everyone will be singing along! ” Who ya gonna call?”

Werewolves of London
This familiar tune you may recognize from Kid Rock’s “All Summer Long.” It’s not summer folks, and Kid Rock certainly won’t cut it. Listen to the original by Warren Zevon, and you’ll be sure to enjoy it.

I Put a Spell On You

And lastly, Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “I Put a Spell on You” is a great song to end any Halloween party.  You may also want to listen to Bette Midler’s version from the motion picture, “Hocus Pocus.”
