The University Programming Council has announced the lineup for its 2013 Spring Concert. The concert will take place at the Mullins Center on April 14 at 6 p.m.

The most notable artist announced is Big Sean, who rose to popularity when he signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music record label in 2007. He released his debut album “Finally Famous” in 2011 and gained credibility with his verses on G.O.O.D. Music singles “Mercy” and “Clique” last year.

Cobra Starship will also play the Mullins Center at Spring Concert. The pop punk band released its latest album “Night Shades” in 2011, which featured the top 10 single “You Make Me Feel…” featuring Sabi. “Good Girls Go Bad” with Leighton Meester gave the band its first top 10 hit in 2009.

Reel Big Fish, which hails from California, will add the Spring Concert to its extensive 2013 world tour. The band, best known for its 1997 song “Sell Out,” will tour the U.S. as part of “Warped Tour” this summer.

Last but not least rapper Tyga and protégé B. Smyth will appear at Spring Concert as well. Tyga rose to fame with several successful mixtapes before releasing the singles “Rack City” and “Faded” under Lil Wayne’s Young Money record label. B. Smyth is currently touring with Tyga and recently released the song “Leggo” featuring 2 Chainz.

Spring Concert promises to be an entertaining and musically diverse night. Tickets for UMass students will go on sale at the Mullins Center Box Office on March 14 at 10 a.m., and cost $10 with a student ID. Five College students and general admission attendees can purchase tickets on March 16 at 10 a.m. Five College tickets will cost $25, while all other attendees will pay $45.
