College-aged male reportedly bites student, threatens others outside Fine Arts Center

Early Sunday morning, a college-aged male approached a group of students near the Fine Arts Center, threatened to assault several members of the group and then reportedly bit a member of the group on the neck, according to a crime alert sent out to the campus community by the University of Massachusetts Police Department Tuesday morning.

According to the alert, the incident was reported to UMPD on Monday.

The suspect is described as approximately 5-foot-10 with a light brown complexion, dark hair and a chin strap style beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a flat brimmed green Celtics hat, blue flannel button up shirt, white undershirt and blue jeans, according to the alert.
