The University of Massachusetts Student Government Association held a meeting Thursday night, Oct. 14 to ratify its recent senate elections.
The meeting was originally scheduled to take place on Sunday, Oct. 10. The members of the SGA took 10 minutes to make a unanimous vote to ratify the election.
“The election turnout was excellent. We had about 2,200 people voting … Every seat was contested,” said SGA Speaker Seamus Brennan.
