According to an e-mail from Dean of Students Jo-Anne Vanin, University of Massachusetts student Randall E. Graham died yesterday.
The Worcester Telegram and Gazette reported that Graham, of Brookline Village, Mass. was traveling east on Rt. 2 near Athol, Mass. when she collided with a 2002 Ford Explorer driven by Annmarie Kemper, 37, of Winchester, N.H.
Kemper was treated for minor injuries while Graham was pronounced dead at Athol Memorial Hospital.
Members of the Athol police and fire departments assisted Massachusetts State Police on the scene.
The cause of the crash is unknown but under investgation by the state police collision analysis and reconstruction team and the state police crime scene services.
She was a legal studies major and lived in the North apartments, according to Vanin.
Vanin extended the University’s condolences in the e-mail.
