The ‘A View from the Director’s Chair’ podcast returns with its first episode of the spring and sixth overall installment. hosts Danny Marchant and Kevin Romani cover J.J. Abrams, the director of the “Star Trek” reboot and last summer’s “Super 8.” Abrams has a small theatrical resume, but the impressive storyteller is also the co-creator of television series such as “Lost” and “Fringe.” Abrams is widely considered to be “the next Steven Spielberg.”
