Dalai Lama and UMass students agree Tibet should be free from China

Several UMass students often lead protests to “free Tibet” from the People’s Republic of China’s territory. The Dalai Lama’s recent visit to the White House does not necessarily mean that the United States Administration is willing to compromise its relationship with China to support independence for Tibet.
