The Minutemen have 13 freshmen and four sophomores on its roster this year. Despite just two wins so far, UMass has seen production from its young unit, as underclassmen have accounted for 49 of the Minutemen’s 77 points. Justin Braun made his NHL debut for the Sharks, while John Quick is impressing in net for the Kings.
