The UMass track and field squads continued their preparation for the A-10 championship meet by posting strong outings over the weekend.

Track squads compete at Reggie Lewis Track
Zach Koncki broke the school record in the long jump in Roxbury, leading the team to a solid finish, while the women also made a solid showing.

Minutemen begin outdoor season with strong showing
Carrying momentum from the indoor season, the Massachusetts men’s track and field team performed well in both the Sam Howell Invitational and the Yellow Jacket Invitational to kick off the outdoor season.

UM gains experience in exhibition meet
At a pre-conference meet this past weekend, the Massachusetts track and field teams had a record-setting affair. The exhibition event gave UMass players a chance to qualify for upcoming championship meets.
