The Richmond men’s basketball team upset Purdue, 65-54, to claim the Chicago Invitational tournament title on Saturday. Senior guard Kevin Anderson led the Spiders with 28 points, while Justin Harper poured in 14 to extend Richmond’s winning streak to four games.

GWU claims first win of season over Marist

After dropping its contest against Boston University, the George Washington men’s basketball team rebounded to defeat Marist, 79-59. Tony Taylor led the Colonials with a game-high 23 points as GWU knocked down seven 3-pointers in the first half to take a big lead into intermission.
