This week will bring a host of career fairs to the University of Massachusetts.
Today is the Asian Latino African Native American (ALANA) career fair, which will be held in the Student Union ballroom from 1 to 5 p.m. More than 50 national, statewide and local businesses and companies will be in attendance to recruit top ALANA students from a variety of majors.
Some more prominent corporations who will head to UMass include AT&T Inc., looking for students enrolled in the School of Management, Baystate Health Systems, seeking students from all majors, City Year Boston, EMC, which will recruit students majoring in the sciences, Ernst & Young, recruiting accounting students, Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., seeking students from all majors, Macy’s, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), the Museum of Fine Arts, National Grid, seeking engineering majors, the Peabody Essex Museum, seeking history, social science and literary students, the Peace Corps, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), looking for accounting and finance majors, Raytheon, which is searching for math and science majors, Shaws Supermarkets, the Social Security Administration, TJX Companies, Inc., Target, the U.S. Secret Service and Walgreens.
The Campus-Wide and the Life Sciences career fairs will be held tomorrow. Thursday will bring the Summer, Co-op and Internship Fair. All three will be in the Campus Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
