The elections for Student Government Association wrap up Thursday.

In addition to House Council and Senatorial races, students have the opportunity to vote on four referenda questions.

The first question seeks to amend a contradiction in the SGA constitution. As it stands now, there is a provision that states if the SGA President does not veto a provision within seven days, it becomes an act of the SGA; the immediately following provision states that if the SGA President does not veto a provision within seven days, it is automatically vetoed. The referendum would replace this with a provision that if the President does not veto a motion within seven days, it becomes an act of the SGA.

The second referendum question would change the statute of limitations for filing a complaint with the Student Judiciary from 90 days to 30 days.

The third question looks to correct a typographical error in the SGA Constitution, changing the word ‘tie’ to ‘tied.’

Voting takes place at Campus Pulse and will continue through Thursday.
