UMass’ University Health Services (UHS) will host a walk-in H1N1 flu vaccination clinic on Thursday, Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. The clinic is open to individuals over six months old, and available while vaccine supplies last.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health recommended vaccination for all individuals in the virus’ target groups.
Forms and information will be available at the door, but to save time, UHS recommends that individuals download the registration form and vaccine information from the UHS website, www.umass.edu/uhs, and photocopy both sides of their insurance card. They also instruct patients to bring the completed form, insurance card and card copies to the clinic.
