With the victory, Sac State improved its record to 8-7, including a 4-1 mark at home.
Sophomore Jayme Wright recorded a team high 25 digs in the game while juniors Tasman Dwyer and Kelly Voeltz recorded eight and seven blocks respectively. In game one the Hornets overcame deficits of 6-0 and 10-5 as Captain Sarah Chlebana connected on eight of her 15 kills to lead the comeback.
