The Massachusetts hockey team earned its first weekly hockey award Sunday, when sophomore Chris Capraro was given CCM Hockey East Player of the Week honors. Capraro earned the nod after his second three-point game this season in a 5-1 win over St. Lawrence.
Capraro scored two goals – including the game winner – and added an assist in the Minutemen’s third victory of the season. He also notched three assists against Connecticut on Oct. 9, a 6-3 win in UMass’ home opener. His six points (two goals, four assists) are second on the team behind senior Thomas P
