Fighting for women’s rights

Imagine a country in which half of its population is not allowed to vote, not allowed to drive, not even allowed to leave home without permission. Imagine a country in which half of its population has basically no independence or freedom. Such a country would be terrible place of oppression, and one wouldn’t expect the United States of America, a nation that prides itself in justice and liberty, to have any relations with such a place.
