BOSTON (AP) – Gov. Mitt Romney and his wife Ann are celebrating the birth of their ninth grandchild, a Romney spokesman said Wednesday.
Parker Mitt Romney was born Tuesday in New York City. He’s the first child to the Romneys’ youngest son Craig and his wife Mary. Parker weighed in at 7 1/2 pounds.
The governor and first lady planned to visit the new baby Wednesday, said Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom.
The couple, who have five sons, is expected to return to Massachusetts on Thursday morning.
