A press conference was held at the University of Massachusetts Police Department on Oct. 22 regarding an alleged rape of an 18-year-old female student in her dorm room on Oct. 13. Chancellor Subbaswamy, UMPD Chief John Horvath, Northwestern District Attorney David Sullivan and Dean of Students Enku Gelaye provided statements and answered questions from the press. UMass students also commented on the incident.
