Dalai Lama tickets to go on sale Wednesday

Tickets for “A Force for Good,” a public address by the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet which will be held at the Mullins Center Oct. 25, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Tickets for students of the Five Colleges will be available at the Mullins Center Box Office and cost $10. Tickets for the general public will be available at both the Box Office and on Ticketmaster, and cost $32.

The Dalai Lama’s public address is part of a series of events hosted by Five College schools and the non-profit organization founded by the Dalai Lama, Mind and Life. Amherst and Smith College will host events with the Dalai Lama on Oct. 23 and 24, but they will not be available to the general public.

“A Force for Good” will be held at 1 p.m. and will focus on the role of care and compassion in global education at all levels.
