Shanti Furtado, Assistant Video Editor and Assistant Public Relations
Shanti Furtado is an Assistant Public Relations and Multimedia Editor at the Massachusetts Daily Collegian. A four-year member of the paper, Shanti began writing in the sports section doing beat reporting and athlete features, before contributing artist and music profiles to the Arts section. She then expanded her involvement to the PR and Multimedia sections, aiding with video segments, photography, event planning, and Collegian outreach across campus. Outside of the Collegian, Shanti is the Marketing Director of Local Mojo, LLC. a music community and promotional brand in New England and a Communications Intern with UMass Athletics.
