Large gatherings lead to multiple alcohol-related arrests in the Amherst crime log

Off-campus partying this weekend led to the arrest of multiple individuals in the Amherst area despite prior preparations made by Amherst police.

Amherst crime log: Feb. 22-24

A pair of breaking and entering and alcohol related arrests were reported this weekend. However, a nuisance house violation at a house where a band performed for over 300 people, stole the show.

This weekend, the Amherst police department responded to a haze of alcohol-induced calls.
