- The Massachusetts football team released its 2011 schedule on March 25. The team isn’t competing against any major school, like last season against Michigan, but will follow a solid schedule.
- For men’s basketball, typical UMass opponent Richmond was knocked out of the NCAA Tournament when it lost to Kansas on Friday after making it to the Sweet 16.
- The UMass women’s soccer team continues through its spring schedule with five more games against Holy Cross, Siena, American International and Boston University.
- The No. 16 Massachusetts men’s lacrosse team continues CAA play on Tuesday when it travels to Harvard.
