The University of Massachusetts campus and community was informed by email on Thursday of the death of undergraduate student Colin Radon.

According to the email from David C. Vaillancourt, associate vice chancellor and interim dean of students, Radon was a senior from West Springfield majoring in horticulture science was an active member of the UMass Hydro Farm.

“On behalf of UMass, we extend our sincere condolences to Colin’s colleagues, family and friends,” reads the email.

The email does not include a cause or time of death.
