There was a report of two thefts on the 12 and 20 floors of the W.E.B. DuBois Library at around 2:30 p.m. according to Ed Blaguszewski. Backpacks were taken with one wallet and two laptops.
The suspect is a white male with dark hair in a buzz cut style. He is estimated to be 6’3” with a muscular build, wearing a dark top and dark sweatpants. Although the police conducted a floor-by-floor search, they did not turn anyone up.
A crime report through text message and email was subsequently sent out to the students to alert them and to encourage them not to leave valuables unattended.
