The original South College building was destroyed by that fire, the old section of the current South College was officially known as New South College and was built in the 1880s. During construction of the expansion a few years ago, excavations uncovered the buried debris from the original building.

Whenever I used to go to South College for TA office hours, I wondered who they pissed off to get put in there
